White River Amphitheater? Really, Radiohead?
Marcel, that's where they came last time - on the Hail to the Thief tour. I didn't go because I think that venue is an insult to Life itself.
But I have this awesome plan to beat the traffic: park in Enumscratch & ride a bike to the Amphitheatre, then bike to the car & go north through Black Diamond.
I bet they won't allow bikes on the premises or they charge full parking rates...
Where did you get that poutine??
oh. Uh. whoops. I guess this proves that I respond to visual stimuli much faster than to verbal stimuli.
the fucking liars??!? BOOOO!
what happened to grizzly bear?
Depends on the source of the poutine; never get it at the Squamish, B.C. KFC.
@6 Never eat there, period. If you must eat fast food in Squamish, go to the Dairy Queen. If you have some time and money, eat at that hotel restaurant at the edge of the busy part of town. Nice burgers. I've also heard good things about the golf club restaurant a little bit south on the Sea To Sky in that new development.
You should only buy Poutine where people eat it frequently.
Agree about the Dairy Queen - also a good one in Nelson BC.
Vegan poutine? I'm offended as a Canadian.
@9: Count me as another completely offended Canadian. Vegan poutine is a lie.
Also: poutine is not universally good in Canada, especially western Canada. There are only 2 places in Vancouver that I know of that can make a reliably decent poutine.
Good god, how hard can it be? Poutine is not supposed to be a gourmet dish -- it's fries and gravy with cheese curds, fer chrissake! Any decent diner should be able to whip that up, or am I missing something?
Jacques LaRock's The Puck Stop has the best poutine in Chilly Beach
