I guess whichever one gets more votes must be true!

This perfectly illustrates a problem with public discourse in this country -- the absurd notion that every issue is simply a difference of opinion between two legitimate opposing sides, regardless of what the facts are.

No, strangely enough, it makes me want to kill.

Flaming-- word.

flamingbanjo,

Haven't you heard?

Perception is reality.

Perception is ten times cooler, er, hotter than reality. Reality is for chumps. Gift cards are for WINNERS.

Well, due to the attitude behind that ad, a lot of people are going to die.

"Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away."

Philip K Dick.

"Perception is ten times cooler, er, hotter than reality."

unless global warming is real. because if that's the case, reality may be gaining on perception...

and it's easy, if this does make you want to die, then vote "no". that will bring death sooner.

Do you have the link for the survey? If the planet if fucked anyway, I might as well have a gift card.

@7. I think what Philip K Dick meant to say was, "Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, it makes for an interesting story."

Is this a poll from the website, or is it like one of those ads for iPods on myspace?

I am going to start a new office poll. In how many years will the human race finally kill itself off? I am going to bet on 25 years and the planet will have rejected us like a bad virus.
