I think it's extra terrible that their acronym is a slang term for crystal meth.
I dont think meth users think about "healthcare, confidential counseling, legal assistance, volunteer and political action opportunities and more."
Actually, do they think at all? Maybe they do...while feeling sorry for themselves between bumps.
That doesn't sound like a scam at all.
It turns out there is a GLASS, the Gay, Lesbian and Allies Support Services group in (and for) Asheville, NC. There doesn't appear to be an "Alex Brock" there, and they aren't soliciting bank or Paypal accounts. This spam isn't from them. If I was them, I'd be kind of annoyed at this.

Thank you to all who let us know about this scam. G.L.A.S.S. is a gay and lesbian organized which is ran by volunteers. G.L.A.S.S. has changed it's name to GenXY so the website at www.glasupport.org is currently out of date.
