Iraqi Comedian Shot to Death in Baghdad
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Gunmen killed a veteran Iraqi actor and comedian known for his stage portrayal of the lighter side of life in Baghdad during Ottoman rule in the early 1900s, police said Wednesday.
He was 60 years old.

When are we leaving?
It's horrible. And yet despite the tragedy, there's a hint of comic irony in the blunt phrasing of the headline?
Or is that just me? It reminds me a little of Tommy Cooper, the British comedian who died of a heart attack on stage—everybody thought it was part of his act and laughed through it.
