Obama Wins Indiana

posted by on November 5 at 10:37 AM

It’s finally been called here, and probably elsewhere. Still waiting on Missouri and North Carolina.

As the Electoral Colleges stands now: Obama 349, McCain 162.

But Obama’s tally, if he takes both Missouri and North Carolina, could go up to 375—which would beat Bill Clinton’s margin of victory in 1992.

I thought NC was called for Obama, by .2%.

MO has been called for McCain by MSNBC; NC will be soon, for Obama, I'll bet. That gets him to 364, with one outstanding -- the second district in NE, which can split its vote. Obama could pick up one there. 365.

Less than 1 percent is an automatic recount in the state.

Amazing - first time since 1964. I'm so happy, even my county went blue!

If NC and MO go for McCain, then Nate Silver would have predicted the outcome of this election EXACTLY. 348.6 prediction vs. 349 actual. But NC is probably going to Obama...

Will, only you would post a comment referring to "the state" in a post in which four states are prominently discussed.

If you are referring to Indiana, you're wrong. As you always are.
