Jackie Mason is the least funny comedian of all-time.

it's a little sick the way they exhumed this man's corpse and played it like a puppet just to make a cheap political point. no respect for the dead.

Meanwhile, the Sarah Silverman video is fucking hilarious.
Who knew we had so much in common?

I think Jackie may have missed the point of the Schlep video- Sarah wasn't trying to convince Jews to vote Obama. She was trying to convince Jews who are already voting for Obama to convince their grandparents to do the same. the pitch for "why Obama" is left up to the individuals.

p.s. - Jewish Republican Coalition? Seriously? WTF?

I'm glad that after criticizing Silverman for not explaining why we should vote for Obama, he gave such a detailed explanation of what McCain has accomplished for the country (a lot) compared to Obama (nothin'). It's a good thing he did that, because he'd look a little silly if he then didn't explain specifically why he wasn't voting for McCain and was voting for Obama.

He is quite right that she didn't really say much about why Obama's so great. I think she says, vaguely, that he's "good for Israel," but never really explains why.

Gross. He's aggressively unfunny and that anemic laugh/applause track isn't convincing anyone otherwise. Go hang out with Jon Voight and the rest of the insane Republican "celebrities," jackass.

That is seriously one of the saddest things I've ever seen.

Jackie Mason should know McCain accomplished the two biggest bank failures in history.

I think that even Mr. Poe would rather sleep with Sarah Silverman over Jackie Mason. What a corpse.

I have a Jackie Mason LP, recorded way back when, 1960s or something. It's the most effective torture device I've ever heard; it'll clear out a party ten times faster than Metal Machine Music ever could.

@2: I thought the same thing! Maybe he will die before the election. One less vote for the bad guy.

It's official: Jackie Mason has become a Jackie Mason parody.

He's just bitter that she won an Emmy for her fucking Matt Damon song and his lameass show got cancelled in a heartbeat...

(Note to the young: Jackie Mason had a very, short-lived ABC sitcom in aprox 1989. You would best know him as Krusty the Klown's rabbi dad on The Simpsons...)

The laugh track and "small club" applause were really sad. Even sadder than his schtick.

Somebody please take Jackie Mason back to the Home and when you do remember to remind him that tonight is soup and apple sauce night!

WOW was that a female African-American Gay Muslim dressed in Jewish Male Drag doing the Yiddish accented Jew thing? Jackie Mason died 45 years ago didn't he?

If you think he accomplished nothing, then you are a bigot, and are letting your stereotypes about minorities override reality. So, yeah, if you are voting for McCain because you don't think Obama accomplished anything, you are a bigot.

And, if you vote for McCain you are a moron, or evil.

If I were to vote for president based on who's funnier, Silverman or wutshisname, I can tell you Obama gets it in a landslide.

The visual typography was the best part of the video, and there wasn't much of it.

Wasn't Jackie Mason already in a mini-racism scandal a few decades ago? Awesome pick there for a representative to say not voting for Obama doesn't make you a bigo.

A few decades ago?!! Damn, and they say the Jews know how to hold a grudge! The NAACP forgave Issah Washington and Jesse Jackson 10 seconds after their little fall from grace. Certainly we shouldn't hold something he said 30 YEARS ago against him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a few decades ago. Jackie Mason said all Arabs should be deported from Palestine a few months ago. Heard him myself on NPR.

And I'd laugh just as hard if Jesse Jackson was in an ad talking about not exploiting race.

Pathetic, impotent old white men always support pathetic impotent old white men. It's like a club: Bush I, McCain, Lieberman, Limbaugh, Bush II, Dole, O'Reilly, Rove, Gingrich, Hannity, Guilianni, Mason....

The good news is that they all die eventually, and there's usually a free lunch after the funeral.

(Well, at least the dead Catholic ones. I don't know about the rest of them.)
