Is there a Nobel prize for dressing up your pet for Halloween yet? Because whoever’s responsible for the costume above should win it.
Runners-up here, here, and here.
Thank you, Slog tipper Grace.
Careful! That vicious Pit Bull dressed up as a lion (second link) looks like it is about to attack! Remember kids, Pit Bulls should be banned, or better yet tortured to death! Thanks Dan Savage, and David Schmader for leading the hysterical idiots' charge against these dogs!
the leprechaun is horrifying indeed
Last year my dog’s costume at our big Halloween party was “guestbook”. We just put a white t-shirt on him and stuck a marker in his collar and everyone signed it. I haven’t come up with anything good for this year, though… I don’t think he’d put up with something like that alligator costume, but it’s pretty phenomenal.
that leprechaun looks dead on my doggers! hey buddy! who wants a scritchers?
More animals dressed as other animals, please!
*squeals with delight
I hope that costume has an opening at the alligator's, uh, trachea.
I love this post.
Talk about provoking! If I were that pit bull and was forced to wear that costume, I would maul a young child or elderly person, too!
Great pictures... I love how creative some people are... My saint bernards were butterflies last year.. not the least bit creative!
Last year my border collie was a Black Widow. Easy costume for a black dog. All you need to do is attach 4 fake legs and a red hour glass to a black harness.
My chis are dressed up as a pirate, and Elvis. Awesome.
Dear slog, more dogs in costumes. Have you seen that episode of South Park where the boys have to compete with a television show of closeup wide-angle shots of smiling dogs? Yes, please.
Jesus, my dog would drag a Halloween costume out into the yard and eat it.
My beagle wouldn't put up with that alligator outfit. That must be a well trained beagle. Great costume!
I'm not a believer in the inhumanity of pet costumes but these are GREAT!
