Too easy.

Corrected. And I shall now go hang my head in shame. Sorry I let you down, fellow queens.

uh, Urinetown?

Posted by michael strangeways | October 31, 2008 1:43 PM

Really, Dan, asking queens to identify this quote is a sleepwalker.

This lyric comes from a song with the word "pie" in its title, name the show and the composer...

You are so enticing, I'm starting to shake,/
(You are just the icing to put on my cake)/
To continue: Heaven's blue ought to be you/
(Heaven too ought to be you.)/
Everything super-do ought to be you.

priests aren't ALL molesters. the ex-priests & ex-seminarians i knew growing up were pretty cool.

Posted by max solomon | October 31, 2008 2:17 PM

Priests may not all be molesters of kids bodies but they are all molesters of kids minds. Teaching their bullshit to children should be outlawed. I know. I had my mind screwed up by their myths and superstitions and bulshit guilt trips and on and on. It's sick shit!

"Priests For Life Needs you to keep those kiddies coming" is just about Dan's best line of the year.

@ 7. I'm no queen (just a lesbian), but i know that song is 'Cherry Pie Ought To Be You' form Out of This World. No idea who the composer is, though. Porter?

Hee. Guess who went to work today dressed as Mrs. Lovett for Halloween - me!

Posted by Lisa | October 31, 2008 3:26 PM

Sweeney Todd - don't even have to think about it!

Posted by Amy | October 31, 2008 7:06 PM

Indeed. "Cherry Pies Ought to Be You" is from Cole Porter's "Out of This World," and might be the title of a song Mrs. Lovett sings to the beggar woman as well...

What's the Fr. stand for? Frotteur?

If Sondheim and Rogers and Hammerstein got into a fight, who would win?
