Query from a Reader

posted by on June 13 at 11:55 AM

Hi there,

I was told that the Stranger ran an article recently about how empty storefronts on Broadway were being given temporarily to artists for gallery space….but I have been unable to find it on your website…

Do you have any more information about that, or can recall the article’s title?

Here tis.

Sound Transit arts programs during construction are a good thing.

If you are interested in proposing an "art intervention" for Broadway, visit our site at www.soundtransit.org/artopportunities for more info on how. We've just reviewed the first round of applicants and are working to contact artists and match them up to the right storefronts. Expect a wave of installations in the next couple of weeks.

We will be accepting proposals throughout the summer.
