City Nickels. Nickels. Ceis.

onMayor Greg Nickels wants to install a dozen video cameras in four city parks before summer hits and has asked the City Council to free up $850,000 to pay for them. But Nickels partially circumvented the council’s 2007 freeze of that funding months ago — and quietly bought and emplaced a handful of the security cameras.
And then, the quote, from the Nickels? ….
Nope, Tim Ceis.
“We had two public places where we had some immediate public safety issues which we thought could be resolved with the installation of cameras,” Deputy Mayor Tim Ceis said.
And it’s Ceis issuing statements throughout.
Where is Mayor Nickels?
Why does he never speak?
And prepared statements don’t count.
p.s. Ditto Howard Wolfson/Hillary Clinton.

Jeebus, that's almost $71,000 per camera! What are they using - some freaking gold-plated CCD units developed by NASA for looking down the throats of extinct Martian volcanoes?
Oh, wait. Seattle Parks Dept. will be installing these, right?
'nuff said.
Why can't we have a mayor, or even a mayoral candidate that isn't a complete and total douchebucket?
Gonna be a lot of broken cameras due to the freedom-loving citizens of Seattle hunting for um ... squirrels ... yeah, that's why ...
Didn't your mother ever teach you not to talk with your mouth full?
Tim does a good job with this stuff, and the mayor has bigger things to worry about .
hahahaha
Sims... I'll forgive you for your premature Clinton superdelgate vote if you run for mayor of Seattle.
First law of successful governing: hire a ruthless hatchet man. Ceis the shark is just the Dick Cheney of the Nickels administration. Whenever Nickels wants to do something stupid and evil, like spy on his consituents in blatant violation of the United States and Washington constitutions, he gets Ceis to slip in the shiv.
@6 god you have no idea what you are talking about.
Ron Sims is a mad man and a liar.
