Who will be where? Are you guys flipping coins? Because some of these "parties" sound deader than Rachel Corrie.

I think it's a bad idea for ANY candidate to have an election night gala at "Third Place Tavern".

*God* I wish I could go to the "No on Prop 1" party tonight.

Not because I'm against Prop 1- I'm totally for it since it will give $10b+ dollars of metro money to urban mass transit- but because I would so love around midnight to finally get drunk enough with Will in Seattle to get over our mutual antagonism and bond over our common political goals, rededicating ourselves to destroying those Republican fuckers next fall. (I just wouldn't bring up Hillary.)

Hey Venus Velazquez supporters:
###
Jasmine tries to be sleek but fizzles

Rating:

Jasmine is the kind of place that wants to be flashy and buzzworthy. Regrettably, it comes across as an unpolished juvenile, and offers little bang for your buck.
...The bar is the design highlight of this former, extremely made over Red Robin. ......on Saturday nights, when the restaurant morphs into a throbbing club for mostly twentysomethings at about 10:30. (There's a $10 cover and the event producers ask ladies to "keep it sexy," and "fellas" to come "dressed in your finest threads.")

...
The overpriced martinis sounded intriguing, but the raspberry tango champagne martini ($10) was light on the champagne; and the Guava Lava ($12) didn't pack enough guava flavor.

While I hate to pile on more, three different servers on three separate occasions all lacked grace, professionalism and knowledge ...###

Perfect. Par-tay!!!!!!!!

So... if the returns show Venus getting tromped on by Bruce Harrell, will she throw all caution to the wind and down six or eight cocktails, just for the hell of it, and because it won't matter any more then?

Not to mention getting in her Volvo wagon and driving home.

Mainstage? Isn't that a notorious criminal hangout and shooting gallery?

@5 - um, sorry, I'm not into guys.

If you were a hot woman, my answer would be different.

But I'll try to put Will in Seattle on a nametag in case you run into me.

Then you can thank me for being correct - still hoping I'll win the Times election prediction thing.

He wasn't hitting on you, Will. Don't flatter yourself. It's ugly.

No, it's just I have stuff to do - the only reason I stay at a party for election is it's real close and/or there's a woman there that I just want to be with.

So, did you enter for the contest, Mr. Poe?

Will, I was thinking more Libertie and Egalitie and Fraternitie, less handjobs and nipple clips and KY. Sorry if there was any confusion.

What's the Time election prediction thing?

What's the "Times election prediction thing"? Looked at their website and found nothing.

Election night parties aren't quite as good as weddings but definitely high on the list of good places to hook-up. Staffers just need a release.

Please no talk about Will & handjobs. I just vomitted a little in my mouth.

Gidge, you're out of your element.

Did you not get the memo that "i just vomited a little in my mouth" has been officially retired?

AM I THE ONLY ONE AROUND HERE WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT THE RULES?

/walter

But it sounds like if you're an F, Gidge, Will would blow a load in your mouth. Oh la la!

sorry for the faux pas, walter.

@12,13 - it's the David Postman blog - you send him an email with your predictions of the final vote (hurry ends soon).

Think the PI Big Blog has an easier one too.

I'll ignore the rest ...

Hmm, Two Bells is close, maybe I'll pop in for a beer just to see what a politician looks like.

Found the Postman item.

It's http://blog.seattletimes.nwsource.com/davidpostman/archives/2007/11/election_pop_quiz.html and you then email your guess in.

Where's the party for "Consumers to Screw the Consumer"?

I want my rightful consumer's share of whatever they got left for party snax.

So utterly typical of Clark and Rasmussen that they would schedule their parties from 5:30 to 7:30. I'll bet they're both home and in bed by 10...after a nice warm glass of milk.. Sheesh.

But Sally gets snaps for having her party at the Doubleheader which is the oldest gay bar in Seattle. And a lesbian having her party at the Doubleheader? Come on, now that is funny.

I think the real reason is that Sally & Tom are both having their victory party before polls close b/c there is no way either will lose. People who want to come and show their faces can get it over with and move on to the real action.

But I do think they will both be home in bed by 10 stone cold sober.

yes Hoolio, despite the triple post, you are right about choosing the Double Header. That took me by surprise and may well be the most risqué thing Sally has ever done.
