Apparently, the drunken Blackwater mercenary who murdered that Iraqi bodyguard lives here in Western Washington!

http://www.komotv.com/news/10194046.html

SEATTLE (AP) - Somewhere in Western Washington state resides a former Blackwater contractor who might under normal circumstances be on trial for the high-profile killing of an Iraqi in Baghdad's Green Zone.

But federal officials say he's not in custody. They barely acknowledge his existence, let alone release his name or discuss the status of the investigation.

The shadowy case highlights the murky legal issues surrounding the controversial security firm's Iraq-based employees, who may be exempt from both U.S. and Iraqi law.

"What normally would be a major option would be to have him prosecuted in Iraq," said Ron Slye, director of the international comparative law program at Seattle University Law School. "The problem is of course, under Iraqi law as put into place by the U.S., there's no jurisdiction over these people."

We have to give Bush credit for a more reasonable North Korea. Bringing China into the talks was key. Engaging in only bi-lateral talks with that despot was never the way to go. Madalyn Albright: please make a note of it.

the fundamentals simply aren't there to sustain this market. It's in for a very painful unravelling. Take your profits while you can.

The Blackwater story keeps getting crazier. Rep. Issa has basically threatened Waxman, implying that if Waxman travels to Iraq to investigate directly, he will be putting himself in danger. Watch the clip - absolutely crazy.

Reading about Blackwater fills me with pure acidic shrieking rage. Calling them cowboys is an insult to cowboys. These are the most smug, idiotic sub-frat boy playground bully you ever met if you armed him to the teeth and gave him total legal impunity. These bastards need to spend some time tied up in a well-drained room getting acquainted with the families of the people they killed and a wide assortment of box-cutters and blunt instruments. If anybody was to leak the name and address of the fucker who shot that bodyguard, they'd be a goddamn American hero in my eyes. Whoever the Blackwater guy who pulled his gun to try to stop the other ones shooting is the only one worth a damn. Too bad he didn't just shoot them in the fucking face.

Okay ... that sounded psycho, but Jesus Christ, you know these bastards are just going to walk away from this. All the "crazy lefties" who pay attention to stuff like this were warning us about Blackwater years ago.

Zune's 3% market share is 3rd after iPod (70%) and SanDisk(10%). Zune
hoping to become #2 not hoping to stay #2
as the story claims.
