Mike Jones on Larry Craig

posted by on October 5 at 13:48 PM

Like, uh, literally.

When the Larry Craig scandal first unfolded, Mike Jones told me that Sen. Larry Craig had been an escorting client of his. I asked Mike if he could prove his claim, but he said that while he didn’t have voice mail messages to backup his claim, as he did with Ted Haggard, he would nevertheless come forward IF Craig did not follow through on his resignation.

Today Jones told a Las Vegas radio station, “Larry Craig visited me.” Like Haggard did, in the beginning, a spokesman for Larry Craig told the radio station that Jones’ allegations are “completely false.”

JoeMyGod says the proof isn’t conclusive—so it looks like Craig finally has a scandal on his hands that can be described as a “he said, he said”. But Mike Jones has a credible track record, says JoeMyGod, “I believe him.”

These closeted republicans must all be using or sharing the same gay-prostitute rolodex or something.

This is why it's not hot to be a manwhore. First Tedd Haggard, now Larry Craig. It's just nothing like a Falcon video. I'm a little bit sad and disillusioned.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEW!!!

Haggard was one thing but I seriously hope he charged extra for old Wide Stance.

Yes. I'm still MJ hatin'. Forgive/ignore me.

Gee. It's like you didn't see it coming, but you're totally not surprised, because this much was expected. From Jones.

So how many other closets have Jones fucked--with his all-over-the-fucking-country whore-ass--that he has personally informed you of?

Did he cry and punch any walls because of Craig? How about Joey DiFatta? Or, has he yet to remember that one...we'll wait for the media to pimp the news. Then he'll remember.

Amen. 100%. Yes.

I call Bull Shit on this as well. Mike Jones had his 15 minutes of fame and a poorly written book (face it, it was written at the 8th grade level and we ALL know it)

He needs to get a real job.

What did this guy blow Bush too? What a bunch of crap.

Who Is Mike Jones? was powered by the single "Still Tippin'," Jones's homage to cruising in tricked-out cars, or "slabs." Jones is also known for a Houston specialty: rapping over "screwed" versions of familiar hip-hop beats.

Extra credit: The lengthy tattoo on Jones's right arm reads: "If you don't work you don't eat, you don't grind you don't shine."

Quoted from Hardball (not Chris Matthews, though)...

"It's not about homosexual sex because had Craig dressed like a woman and gone into the women's restroom and solicited sex it would be the same thing."

C'mon...ladies...does this sort of thing *EVER* happen in the women's restroom or am I just completely bonkers?...

Delete him from your phone, Dan. Please. He is to you what Chris Crocker is to Eli.

i was hoping all of this would just die and spare me...but i am afraid i am going to have to tell my own larry craig story. i'm just going to have to. and yes, i have one. stay tuned. dammit.

I swear, when I first read this story I somehow read "Larry Craig" as "Larry King" and I had to read the entire thing TWICE before I noticed my mistake. (Something about "on Larry Craig" made me think of "on Larry King" -- you know, like when people say "Dan is going to be on Colbert.")

I'm just really scared my brain went there.

It's okay, Kristi. I'm sure Jones has had sex with Larry King as well.

I totally believe the man. It is frightening though, pretty soon people are gonna start to think that all gays are republicans and I won't stand for that!

a well paid whore that tells all for fame and book vending

yuk

and of course, one of his ballsy clients are going to tell all on him, much more interesting en total

It doesn't matter if he's credible, he doesn't have the evidence and it just seems unlikely that the head of a powerful megachurch and an Idaho senator would share the same whore.

It may be true, and I think I would trust mike from a personal standpoint, but if the last 6 years have taught me anything it's that Republicans can work wonders with even a smidgen of plausible deniability. So even if it is true, for right now, it's worthless.

Mike Jones did not make shitloads of money doing that book. People, come on. One book does not set you up for life. He's also out of a job since he came forward and outed Haggard. Have a little compassion and show a little gratitude.

I hope it's true, cause if it is, he's like the Forrest Gump of manwhores.

@20

We know all of this. Which is why he needs new material for new books. We've been over this.

I have compassion for him, sure. Gratitude? No. But I've already expressed this.

Dan, come on. This isn't the slightest bit ridiculous to you?

Ted Haggard
Okay. Don't exactly agree with how you handled it, Jones, but okay. I'm 50/50 here.

A bunch of familiar faces in the Church
Um. Alright. No. But okay. Looks like most people believe you.

Larry Craig
Please. Macy's is hiring. Go away.

you know - Dan - when the "well paid whore" does the tell all on YOU, there will be many believers, nation-wide

Esp. if he/she has any pix, inside details etc.

Instant fame for a no body

And you will have no credibility in denial, except your mommie

The trap awaits, beware

@23 Given the details of his life that Dan regularly reveals, what makes you think he would have kept time with a whore private. In fact, in Skipping toward Gammorah, he talks about hiring an escort and then later her boyfriend.

@24: exactly. you need to be in hiding before you can be "exposed." now, if a female whore came forward with a video of dan eating her out...busted!

I spent the summer working (legitimately) with Mike Jones on a play, and I must say that he's a completely sincere, loyal, sweet and trustworthy person. I support him 100% in this disclosure, and I can't believe Craig is still trying to fight this. Search key words "craig" and "page scandal" on youtube.com if you need more information on the long-running hypocritical behavior of Idaho's favorite senator.
