So Craig's not resigning after all??

So the whole thing about quitting the Senate was just a media hoax to buy time until everyone forgot about it??

Well played, Senator, well played.

As much as I despise him and his politics, I just have to respect those ginormous brass balls.

Stick it out? Dan, I was under the impression that Wide Stance was a bottom.

Should I be jealous that I've never had a confirmed closeted cruiser as a senator?

Not that I'm hoping Murray or Cantwell flip out the Gimme Carpet gang symbol in SeaTac's loo anytime soon. Ew.

There's nothing about Guiliani answering his phone, just about him being pissed about someone answering theirs during his speech. Something that would piss me off too. Are some people so dependent that they can't go a few minutes without a phone call?

i wasn't there either time, so it's difficult to say. but i've seen both cell phone reactions before and they were funny.

he might have been being a jerk -- but do you really think that's what he was going for? i think he was going for funny.

for instance, i've seen the decemberists answer a phone call during a show, and i saw it some other time as well. in both cases they joked how they were performing, and the audience laughed.

i've also seen an audience member get a call, and the speaker jokes by saying they'll wait until the call is answered.

maybe these jokes didn't go over, but if i were campaigning, even i'd know better than to be rude to my audience in public.
