presidential appointment as a member of the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation = presidential hand-job for being a gay hating bigot.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President's_Council_on_Service_and_Civic_Participation

A council to further the goal of having every American give 2 years of their lives to some sort of public service/volunteerism.

Kinda weird to come from the 'there is no such thing as society' conservatives.

Yeah, I am with Laurel...Is it just because he is Christian that he is against Gay Marriage? Did I miss something? I just don't want to generalize or anything.

On March 20, 2007, Dungy aligned himself with a socially conservative organization, the Indiana Family Institute, and openly supported an amendment to the Indiana constitution which would have defined marriage as solely between one man and one woman.

laurel & Katie6: denying people equal rights based on false assumptions about their worth is bigotry. Dungy is saying fags are immoral and don't deserve the same dignity as normal people.

Thanks for clearing it up...didn't even know that he supported such an amendment.
