posted by on July 2 at 19:13 PM

Here’s the Washington State Democratic Chair’s official quote on the Libby pardon:

“Unlike Richard Nixon, George Bush is a crook. And when a pal commits a felony, Bush springs him from jail.”

What the hell? I thought he had a wee of an anger problem, but he was a good attack dog for the Dems, what the hell is he doing jumping on the NIXON WAS A GOOD MAN bandwagon? Nixon was corrupt as shit.

Didn't you guys write that he had a bit of a drinking problem? Maybe that's coming to the fore.

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic - probably more obvious if you were there in person, rather than reading a written account.

I'm pretty sure that Dwight thinks Nixon was a crook. Just sayin'.
