You probably need a little context: The quote is from a story that ran in last week’s City Paper, DC’s alt weekly. The story is about a scare on the DC playground basketball courts: People playing “Loser gets ball” as opposed to the traditional, and obviously cooler, “Make it take it.”
Okay, that's hilarious. I never knew make it take it was a rule held so dear on the inner-city courts.
Also, no wonder the black kids in elementary school, most of whom were bussed in from Northtown, always insisted on playing make it take it.
Only a baller who tracks the Wizards would link that into Slog. Nice work.
