I’m tempted to give writer/director Judd Apatow credit for his continually enlightened dealings with homo themes, but this scene seems entirely improvised. Nevertheless, enjoy. (Audio NSFW, wear headphones.)
(Thanks to eternal Hot Tipper Jake.)
ok, that was funny!
Uh, who are these actors?
Seth Rogen and some chick nobody cares about. Seth is the Ricky jerk in Donnie Darko, and KEN from FREAKS AND GEEKS!!! He rules.
That's not Seth Rogan, actually. That's Jonah Hill, a.k.a. the guy trying to buy the crazy boots from the eBay store in 40 Year Old Virgin.
I was referring to the main character. I haven't watched the clip yet. I'm at work.
And the woman is Katherine Heigel, from Grey's Anatomy.
Does your work involve staring at Slog all day? Crazy!
Actually, if I dig up my job description, that could very well be part of it. Where the fuck else will I Slog? Home? No.
Katherine Heigel, totally hot. Was on "Roswell" before Grey's Whatever-the-hell.
I'm a geek.
Heh. Ari is spunky. And I like it.
i like how ari is repremanding readers for sloggin on the job. who else is going to be reading all day?
and more importantly, should she really be slogging while on the job???
We generally try to go for the unemployed demographic. That's why it's a free paper.
I do agree with him on the issue of obligatory tits in mainstream homo films. Very annoying.
That was all kinds of awesome. You're right, though - seemed very improvised. Katherine Heigl seemed to be fighting back a smile most of the time.
So this scene isn't in the movie?
If I have to watch one more movie about how cute and sweet it is to be young and alive, I'm going to crawl back into my casket for good. I swear it.
Any idea why this scene was deleted from the movie?
So fuckin funny
#16 So they have something to put on the unrated DVD.
Katherine Heigl was also in the Disney Channel movie "Wish Upon a Star." Who's the geek now?! :-)
Whoa, Scottie, you've outdone yourself with that one. hahah.
