In the future, please provide an alternate page for pornographic content and label it as NSFW.

Posted by raindrop | March 26, 2007 4:38 PM

Agreed. Put the pu$$y "after the jump" as they say.

Posted by MoTown | March 26, 2007 4:40 PM

art should automatically be SFW

Posted by vooodooo84 | March 26, 2007 4:43 PM

BTW Hokusai is pretty much a bad-ass. 36 views of Mt. Fuji and tentacle porn; my hero

Posted by vooodooo84 | March 26, 2007 4:49 PM

Which one is your screensaver charles?

Posted by dilby | March 26, 2007 5:03 PM

And let's not forget this extraordinary piece by Marcel Duchamp, "Etta donne, el gas iluminador."

Posted by Gurldoggie | March 26, 2007 5:06 PM

Forgive him--I don't think Charles has ever worked in corporate America. (Try the "But it's art!!" excuse when your HR manager walks behind you and gasps.) It's hidden now.

Posted by Amy Kate Horn | March 26, 2007 5:15 PM

It is still not hidden! I know what is suitable for work at the stranger is pretty laid back, but here are a couple things that arent SFW at my job

1) pictures of an octopuss engaged in pussy eating (for some reason I doubt my uptight boss would go for this)

2) pictures of a bare ass.

Please guys, I love naughty shit as much as the next guy (probably more) but I read this blog at work mostly and now I will most likely have to stop

Posted by duhhhhh! | March 26, 2007 5:25 PM

Well there goes my subscription to your blog, you stupid fuck

You speak for a lot of us hardly workin folks.

I'm amazed at how misogynistic this crappy newspaper is and how you get away with it by presenting your BS as something edgy. I consider myself a progressive but more and more (as I see the banal bullshit you and SAVAGE serve up) I find myself sympathizing with the right.
Is your dick really as small as Hagar said?

Well, this shows that the Japanese have been into hxxtai for a lot longer than I thought they had. (The xx in hxxtai are necessary because the spam filter is set to catch that word)

Posted by wile_e_quixote | March 26, 2007 8:37 PM

Jeezuz, half the content of The Stranger isn't safe for work, so why would you expect the blog to be? You want safe? Read the goddam Seattle Times.

Posted by Ebenezer | March 26, 2007 9:10 PM

I heart the Seattle Times and it's been almost a year since I've been to the Asian Art Museum.

13, what is is misogynistic about this paper, exactly? the gay male angle? that's not about women, but neither is it misogynistic...that art? i've always had a fondness for that piece, just 'cause it's SO over the top.

And to think: for its mouth, the octopus has a beak (sort of like a parrot's beak). This raises another question: is this some sort of S/M scene full of "beak torture"?

Posted by David | March 26, 2007 10:56 PM

She has lice crawling all over her. That is disgusting. Why would you want to show that on your wall? The other picture?... She is laying back, showing her privates. Why would you want to show that on your wall? Dude, you have problems. Stop grossing us out.

Posted by lawrence clark | March 27, 2007 3:42 AM

lc above --

"her privates" ---- honey, it is her pussy.

Slog is not the Baptist Church where you grew up - OK to use the street terms....more accuracy and color and sexual flair.

Even most fags know it is pussy

Break out lc....... no getting any younger.

I know I'm late to the party on this but please try to limit the number of crotch shots that arent behind a NSFW link.

I love reading the slog/lineout (really have stopped reading the print ver) but I almost shit out my mouth yesterday when a crotch scrolled up my monitor. I like my jerb too much to risk it again so slog will only get read after work (aka less). I am totally fine with the content but not so much with the presentation.

Posted by deeze | March 27, 2007 8:45 AM

I knew there would be something that is far more risky before I clicked on the link so why would you just go ahead and click on the link at work if it is something that is obviously behind a link for a purpose. Then blame the Stranger as if your whole computer screen just turned into a vagina making it all their fault.
I will say it again "I knew there would be something that is far more risky before I clicked on the link"
