I will never forget drinking some of his earthworm-smelling wine on a visit to the Gondola-accessible winery during Corflu in the mid-80s.
On the other hand, because of that trip, found some great bargain wines at nearby wineries.
I grew up with one if their distribution warehouses on my street. Exactly 2 blocks from my house. My friends and I would walk in there in broad daylight and comandeer cases of their product without any protest from the employees. I will always have a soft spot for Erkin' and Jerkin' Brandy.
Then there's that whole Orson Wells thing, too.
Hahaha, liver!
The inventor of Thunderbird is dead. Long live Thunderbird.
Sadly, Vincent Gallo remains alive.
"Liver forever", indeed.
Cheap and tasty!
He was 97, not 92: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2003605084_galloobit07.html Hmm, I think I gotta go out there and pick me up a jug of sweet sweet life-extending Gallo vino.
