Support Our Troops

posted by on December 31 at 11:52 AM

Finally, there’s a reason to support the men and women fighting for nothing in Iraq. And the area of nothingness in Iraq was only increased by the murder of man who had nothing to do with 9-11, Saddam. A murder that was used, like the death of Ford, to circulate even more nothingness in America’s media networks.

Your Ford angle is quite an absurd stretch Charles. Get over it. By Thursday coverage will be over. It's just a funeral after all - and we're finding out more and more how he disliked the hard right wing of the Republican party. Why didn't you weave that into your rhetoric?

he disliked the right wing of the republican party in death and not in life. that is how empty he is.

Charles, referring to Hussein's execution as "murder" is propagandistic and misleading. The man was a brutal tyrant, guilty of crimes against humanity thousands of times over. He was subject to a fairly-conducted trial and an orderly, humane implementation of the sentence.

"implementation of the sentence" is a good euphemism for state directed murder. I should use that.
