A Finale to an Uncanny Week.

The Stranger just made True Hoop —one of the best NBA blogs on the Internets.

Ha! This gay paper says:

Ladies leave your man at home
The club is full of ballers and their pockets full grown
And all you fellas leave your girl with her friends
Cause it’s eleven thirty and the club is jumpin’, jumpin’

Alexie writes: "I hate Kobe like other people hate the New York Yankees. And, man, it feels good to hate like that because I won't start any wars because of it. I get to hate without fear of violence. And my father hated Kobe like that, too."

I'm glad he was able to connect with his dying father, something I hope a lot of us can experience. But personally speaking, I hate sports metaphors. And to say, "I get to hate without fear of violence" seems to be a morally irresponsible view.
