More than 1,000 families displaced by Hurricane Katrina in a single Louisiana parish still lack usable trailers from FEMA a full year after Katrina hit. Meanwhile, 10,000 trailers sit unused in Arkansas, FacingSouth reports.

and aren't the trailers themselves full of nasty toxins that is causing the people that do have them to become ill?

God, Republicans are losers. They will allow ANYTHING to represesnt them, as long as their own selfish interests are represented.

Well, there's lots of aid headed New Orleans way -- it's just that Republican-controlled Mississippi is siphoning it all off before it gets there.

Interesting phrase. In the US of A:"no-bid contract". In other countries:"looting the national treasury".

You should see how fast those Mississippi casinos are going back up. They're right as rain barely a year later.
