i dont know about the arabic word, since arabs dont make most of the weaponery being used in those conflicts. but the russian word for the rockets pounding israel is Katyusha, which comes from katia. kind of sounds like the celtic name clint eastwood gave hillary swank in million dollar baby.

these Katyushas are the same russian ones that hezbollah is using against inocent Israeli civilians.

galil is a pretty cool sounding name too, of course they are the official rifles( machine guns) used by the IDF. and one can not forget the Gabriels misiles currently raining on Lebanon's civilians.
