I’m Late Getting to This

Posted by on June 14 at 10:33 AM

But for those who haven’t heard, a crazy, brick-wielding, drunken man furious that he arrived at BLVD Gallery in Belltown after it closed on Friday night smashed in the glass door, then turned around to find he’d locked himself out of his own car. Just get to the art on time, man.

Not only did he smash the door (with a chair actually) (he didnt get in) but he then tried to break into his own car, which he locked himself out of. When that failed- he went into the Rendevous (where all the people on the patio watching the whole thing were Roq la Rue artists, all on their cell phone with the cops) and tried to call a locksmith. Which is where the cops nabbed him and he's been charged with a felony.

Sounds like a meth moment...

I just REALLY wanted to see that show!

Obviously the writers of the story about Seattle being the smartest city in the nation missed this genius.

This is why I love living in the city. I was right around the corner from this whole thing and had NO IDEA it had happened until I read it at Seattlest.

If this had happened around the corner in the suburb I grew up in in Kirkland, I would have heard the whole thing, but everyone would have stayed in their houses and there would be no juicy first hand accounts. Thanks, city! Thanks, Kirsten!
