My favorite thing about the Stranger are the covers, which somehow always manage to capture the weekly zeitgiest. This one is no exception.
I dunno, this one reads a little too "New Yorker" to me.

After visiting Mr HAll's website I see that not only did the Stranger cop the NYer's style of cover humor, but also one of their contributors,,,

If have covers that look just like The New Yorker, maybe we can become a world class city? We write stories about how we hate forests, and how downtown should be crammed with tall buildings. But wait if New York is so great, why aren't we didn't we all move there from the midwest? Ooooops....
