More Blood on the Hill?

Posted by on May 4 at 12:39 PM

This time it’s First Hill. A whole shitload of emergency vehicles have gathered at Minor near Pike, at the Wintonia, a shelter for chronic alcoholics. The call logs indicate assault with a deadly weapon. I’ll check it out, then slog.

Update: According to police spokesman Sean Whitcomb, a person at the Wintonia was stabbed and the suspect was still at large. While treating the victim, police found the suspect — and he’d been stabbed, too. They’ve been transported to Harborview. I called Wintonia but the woman who answered the phone refused to tell me anything more about the incident.

Don't get me started on my lovely neighbors at the Wintonia...
It's a wet half-way house run by Catholic Community Services and it's loud and crazy at all hours.
It's not at all unusual to see cops and firemen going in with battering rams and stretchers.

there was also someone on pike street around boren a couple days ago who was supposedly threatening to commit suicide. weird story, don't know the details, and i guess when the cops showed up he was gone and so they went searching for him? anyway, pike street was closed to traffic for over an hour, blocking buses through the neighborhood.

Isn't it time the Stranger started a column: "The Process of Natural Selection"?

Trevor, I think that one was set at the Villa Apts. I heard they evacuated the whole building and found nothing.

Fear mongering? Bleeds it leads?

OH NOES!!! DRUNK PEOPLE DO STUPID SHIT !!!

STORY AT 11 !!!
