Posted by on May 4 at 12:23 PM

i am not a fan of the music flight situation in the slog neighborhood. i do not want to have to go visit another venue in order to read (or skip) informative music-related posts.

music posts added a nice bit of entertainment to the slog, particularly on heavy news days. i miss them and am starting to resent the teaser posts that attempt to lure me over to the other side of the tracks.

a walk through the slog is now akin to a martin scorsese film without a soundtrack. still good, but definitely missing something.

music evokes passionate responses. i liked the emotion and debates it brought to this forum. would love to hear some reasoning regarding the segregation.

um, ad revenue?

You know a nation is in decline when its citizenry finds it simply too bothersome to make an extra mouse click to hit another website. Have we really become that lazy?

if wanting a well-rounded view of the day's news and gossip is wrong, then i don't wanna be right.

it's not a matter of laziness. music coverage is as important as hard or soft news, particularly at a culture-driven paper such as the stranger.
