Dead Lem
I had no idea that the great science fiction writer Stanislaw Lem was still alive until I learned that he died today in his native Poland. Lem was 84.

FUCK I used to hang at a cafe he frequented in Krakow before I knew of him and his work. It's been a dream of mine that I'd return there and have a beer with him sometime, but I guess it's going to remain a dream.
