Lou Rawls…

…has died of cancer. Which is especially sad when you look at this website.

Sad.
I'm reading the new Sam Cooke biography right now, and Lou Rawls, someone I knew nothing about, keeps popping up on the teen gospel circuit in the early 50s.

and he died of LUNG CANCER LUNG CANCER LUNG CANCER. thank the lord we live in a place with a smoking ban.
