This will give the people on board the american ships enough time to place their heads between their legs and kiss their asses goodbye. Followed up by the Iranians unleashing their supporters in southern Iraq and all hell breaking loose there. Russia and China who both have multi billion dollar oil deals with Iran wont be standing by to watch the u.s. screw them out of oil like they did in Iraq. At best they'll support Iran on the quiet, at worst they'll be open about it and you'll watch your children come home by the boat load of body bags. So maybe you’ll go nuclear and that Chinese general who promised to nuke LA (something they’re quite capable of doing btw) if you support Taiwan in a war will get his chance to do exactly that over Iran.

Or, you could wake the fuck up and stop allowing your twice unelected coward war criminal government from attacking innocent countries. Personally I don't think you will do that.
