CNN has Obama with 3 electoral votes/48% and McCain with 8/51%, but their main story says polls close in a few minutes. WTF?

Seriously, just stop talking about the exit polls. Ignore them. They are (worse than) meaningless.

You mean the original CNN exit polls that showed Kerry winning? Or the revised ones they changed during the night to reflect the announced results?

Hint: the first ones were accurate.

Dems/libs are more likely to respond to exit polls. The entire 'exit poll' system is a statistical nightmare.

Yes that's right. Polls favor Democrats. That's by far the most rational explanation.
