2008 About Those Exit Polls

TPM:
The current round of exits are showing Obama up in pretty much all the toss up states. But remember, they said that about John Kerry too. And he’s still a senator from Massachusetts.
8% reporting in Kentucky - Lundsford is up by three points!
CNN has Obama with 3 electoral votes/48% and McCain with 8/51%, but their main story says polls close in a few minutes. WTF?
Seriously, just stop talking about the exit polls. Ignore them. They are (worse than) meaningless.
You mean the original CNN exit polls that showed Kerry winning? Or the revised ones they changed during the night to reflect the announced results?
Hint: the first ones were accurate.
Dems/libs are more likely to respond to exit polls. The entire 'exit poll' system is a statistical nightmare.
@5:
A popular conclusion supported mainly by the discrepancies between exit polls in the last two elections. When Bush was running.
Yes that's right. Polls favor Democrats. That's by far the most rational explanation.
