Anyone else find it extremely stupid to be opening the polls before a single debate has been done? This just seems really dumb
question: Will they simply collect the cast ballots and keep them locked up until 11/4? Or will they go ahead and count them? If so, will they keep the totals secret?
Also, really excellent point Josh.
Yeah I'm sure John McCain could change my mind with a great series of debates..NOT
@3,
But could Obama change someone else's mind?
Anyway, whatever. I bet swing voters will be sending in their ballots five minutes before post offices close on Nov. 4.
On the other hand, this is a good time to challenge the results from Diebold and other paperless voting machines.
I'm all for giving people more than a single day to cast ballots, but seriously- six weeks? Wouldn't one week be plenty sufficient to ensure that everyone who gives a damn gets to the polls?
