Sports Looking For a T-Shirt to Wear to Safeco Tonight?

onFirst, there’s this in the PI:
M’s in a tight race for the bottomAt last, the Mariners are finally playing some meaningful games in September.
They almost blew it by winning seven of nine in August but rallied with a 12-game losing streak that puts them in a coldly contested battle with the Washington Nationals for the worst record in baseball.
And here’s the t-shirt…
…which you can order here.
But delivery takes a week and by then the season will be over. So I called the Crypt to see if they had any “Bottom” t-shirts in stock. “No, we don’t,” said Ellie, the Crypt’s assistant manager. “It seems that only ‘Manwhore’ and ‘Piglet’ are in high demand these days.” Those t-shirts wouldn’t be appropriate for the ballpark, which is a “family setting.” But if you want to go to the game in a “Bottom” t-shirt—and who doesn’t?—you can design your own and get it this afternoon at B-Bam. Here’s mine…
See you at the ballpark!

Meanwhile here in Chicago, we have an embarrassment of riches! Go Sox/Cubs!
Every loss gets us closer to Stephen Strasburg.
Dan, are you trying to tell us you're a Medium?
Try being a Pirates fan. Until you've endured 16 straight losing (and mostly last place) seasons, you have no room to complain.
TMI
How is "Piglet" inappropriate for a family setting? Whatever sexual meaning it has, adults might get it but kids won't. The impressionable little ones will just think it means cute baby swine. No harm, no foul.
I think I'd rather be in last in the majors than having a fairly decent shot at the play offs and only winning 5 games (so far) in September, like the Brewers. At least you didn't have high hopes. And, its so much fun to be fighting for not last.
doesn't last place get either the 1st or 2nd draft pick next year?
maybe i'll pick up one of those manwhore shirts for the game?
I have seen two the Crypt has that says "Catcher" and "Pitcher".
Wish I'd had that shirt there last night. We had some guys from Chicago sitting next to us who had never been to Safeco Field before. When I said, "It's certainly no Wrigley Field," the guy next me said, "Yeah, no one's tried to grab my ass." Sox fan, obvs.
His obnoxious buddy also made racist comments all night about the Japanese fans in our section. I finally asked them if they were in town for "the feminine hygiene product convention." That shut them up, but the shirt would've been better.
I'm going with "Refuse to Lose (100+)". Sigh.
Yeesh. I'll be there. I'm curious to see how the scattering of fans react after the 27th out.
@10: To be fair (and Dan Himself can vouch for this), Wrigley Field is only a few blocks from Boys Town, where all teh gays go to drink, dance, and hook up in Chicago. There are fucking pillars lining Halstead St., recognizing it as a Gay Neighborhood. I'll take pictures of them the next time I'm down that way. All three neighborhoods in that area (Wrigleyville, Lakeview, and Boystown) are heavily populated by gay people. He was probably a homophobic jackass who doesn't like teh gays living so close to Wrigley Field. I still get emotional when I walk by there, on my way to the gay bars. Much moreso than when I pass Soldier Field on the way downtown.
None of the sorority members at my busstop were wearing that t-shirt.
Maybe you should post it earlier?
Glad they caught the 74 express after they almost missed it at N 43rd on University Way.
