I don’t know how the Greek columns look in person, but on TV they remind you of the Lincoln Memorial.
I can’t tell if that’s great, or way too morbid.
C'mon, lighten up. It's supposed to evoke the National Mall, not the sanitary workers' strike.

I thought the columns were a reference to the LA Coliseum where Kennedy gave his nomination speech. The obvious theme of the week was Obama will continue the Kennedy legacy.
