“Easy, Breezy, Beautiful Coverperson”

So crows the irresistible Defamer headline noting the inclusion of a transgendered contestant on the next season of America’s Next Top Model.

As Us Magazine reports:

One of the 14 girls who will compete on the new season of America’s Next Top Model—which returns to The CW on September 3—is transgender.

“My cards were dealt differently,” Isis, a 22-year-old former receptionist, tells Us Weekly. Hailing from Prince George’s County, Maryland, Isis identifies herself as “a woman born physically male.”

Will she be a role model? “I like to help people, but I’m here to follow my dreams,” she tells Us.

A shameless grab for ratings? A triumph for the transgendered? A recipe for high-octane bathroom dramatics? Yes, yes, and yes.

I have been waiting for this! I was SO convinced that Jaslene from cycle 8 was a tranny. Everytime they did previews for the next week and there was something about a "big twist" I was like this is it! We're gonna find out! I can't believe she's a bio woman.

the problem with this is that she is obviously going to be on way longer than she should be because of this.

Tyra's gonna keep her on the panel in later seasons just so she can say "noted transgendered fashion model..." every week.

Tactic: effective. I totally want to watch it now, no lie.

Agreed that she'll probably be on longer than warranted, but I still think this is super cool. I'm also looking forward to the other catty bitches whining because she's not a "real" girl and it's "not fair."

Yes, but is she there to make friends?

Her choice of a girl name reeks hilariously of overcompensation.

All in all, though, a very successful m2f.

But does she transform into a superhero whenever she says her name?

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friends and I have been talking about this for years. It's too bad they couldn't find a tranny model without droopeyes.

Here's some official tranny lingo for when you talk about this from now on:

"Tranny": Ok if you're using it in a friendly sense, kind of like "queer."

"Natal girl": For women who aren't trannies. Better than "bio girl" because trannies like Isis are "bio girls."

"Easy, Breezy, Beautiful Coverperson": Mildly offensive.

Bet she is the last one off the show before the finale. Keep people watching for drama and from feeling guilty for voting her off, but not there for the big advertising payoff for the network.

Her ankles look impossibly thin. Like she's packing a couple of toothpicks wired together with fishing line instead of bones.

What shoes is she wearing there- does anyone know? They look like some Kenneth Cole Gentle Soles I tried on but couldn't afford.
