In this week’s Stranger, the media’s love affair with Barack gets explicit.

Episode 1: Chicago at Night

The sleek black limo picked me up at the corner of Randolph and Halsted. I climbed inside to find my sleek black man lying there wearing nothing but a grin and a copy of the Sun Times. “This is on the D.L., right?” said Barry in his velvet baritone, a wry smile on his face. He knows my answer before I say it: Yes. Yes to anything, just take me….

“I’m going to teach you about the audacity of grope,” Barry chortled as tossed his unfiltered Pall Mall to the limousine floor and lunged at me, his hungry hands snapping like crab’s claws, grabbing me in a way that I knew would leave bruises. He turned me over, popping the buttons off my shirt. “Say it!” he bellowed, snapping the band on my underwear. “You know you want to.”

“Y-yes,” I moaned. “Yes…we…can…” as he sank deep into me…

THIS will ensure an Obama win in November. Fuck, liberals doing all they can do to get their asses kicked in elections since 1968. (And no Carter and Clinton were not liberals)

How about we don't do this?

Posted by Ziggity | July 31, 2008 7:32 AM

How humiliating for you. Who's idea was this?

Posted by Non | July 31, 2008 7:34 AM

I'm fascinated by this new link of celebrity to polity and it being negative.

10,000 doctoral thesises (thesi?) will be written about this campaign and the last 8 yrs

"Like most celebrities, he reacts to fair criticism with a mix of fussiness and hysteria"

^ oops, wrong thread obvio

Thanks Stranger! We will give this prominent play on our network.

Think it now. Publish after the election.

Yeah, this isn't really working for me either. Aside from that picture making me want to wash my eyes with lye and an SOS pad, I'm pretty sure this won't do much to advance his cause. It will sure help McCain's though...

Oh my God, Schmader, this is lame. I'm gonna go ahead and mark this idea down in the "miss" column for you.

How did Erica feel about this? I mean, clearly, with her convictions she's gotta be threatening resignation, right? Standing up for the old beliefs, yeah? Really sticking to her guns on this one, huh?

Posted by Ziggity | July 31, 2008 8:34 AM

This disturbs my innards.

Posted by ahava | July 31, 2008 8:35 AM

Congrats. You've created a new category someplace south of poor taste.

Posted by Auric | July 31, 2008 8:38 AM

This is dumb. Seriously.

Posted by kerri harrop | July 31, 2008 8:42 AM

Eeeyeah, I gotta agree with most of the posters. This creeps me out, and I can't help but think that anyone not already firmly in Obama's camp would be really turned off by it.

Participating in the joke that has become the American Electoral Process

Posted by Jake | July 31, 2008 9:34 AM

The only thing worthwhile about this is that you worked in "Barry".

Posted by w7ngman | July 31, 2008 9:38 AM

lovesexy was a pretty good prince album.

otherwise, you're helping as much as ludacris.

Posted by max solomon | July 31, 2008 9:40 AM

McCain erotica... now THAT would be comedy gold. You could work in numerous "trollop-faced cunt" references.

Posted by Joe M | July 31, 2008 9:45 AM

I thought it was kind of funny, especially the last line. Really, you guys think that Obama erotica in an alternative weekly will change people's minds about voting for him? So Letterman really screwed the pooch with his latest top ten list and the reference to an affair with Barbara Walters and trolling for chicks with John Edwards?

Posted by PopTart | July 31, 2008 10:07 AM

We won't support ball-less NO-Bama and will re-defeat him in November!!!

Ugh, I really didn't need to see that.

Oh well. Could have been worse. For example, if Hillary HAD won the nomination.

I'm going to go bleach my eyes now.

Heh heh Sounds like this hit too raw a nerve for some readers. Some people think that snark and humor is only good if it's directed at old fogey Republicans, but I'm glad The Stranger can transcend bullshit partisan politics to ridicule everyone on a level playing field.
