A friend captured Dina Martina riding a bike in P-Town! How funny would it be to see her on a bicycle?!

priceless
I will shout out my friend Barb who emailed the photo to me! It made my day! Dina is our Seattle treasure!! Enjoy her P-Town!
Provincetown! Oh, the memories. When I lived on the East Coast we took our summer vacations in Cape Cod, and went to Provincetown when it was cloudy and therefore unfit for the beach. I recall a particularly kick-ass candy store, but for some reason very little drag.
Dina Martina is one of Seattle's best exports.
It's hard to imagine Dina could stay upright given her usual "condition." And look, a jift err, gift bag too!
Dina Martina?
I was sure that P-Town couldn't possibly mean the same thing it did when I lived 3000 miles away from here -- in the same vein as "Portland", "Salem", and "Everett" don't.
But hey, everytime I think I've figured it out, I'm surprised again.
P-Town!
I spent July bi-centennial year 1976 there.
Reminds me. . .it was the first place I ever saw two men walking around town holding hands and then kiss! I took a little gasp (I was pretty young) asked my Mom if she saw that and she said so casually "yeah, well, they love each other - and stop staring." I thought wow! that's cool. Woulda never seen that in our ho'dunk town.
(That's all the folks afraid of how their kids will take it have to do and say - the kids won't be tamatized.)
I remember seeing Dina at her coming out show at Bumbershoot way back in 1932. I still roar with laughter when I see her. God Bless you Dina Martina.
what is it about p-town that is so magical? i talked to john waters as he was toodling around p-town a couple years ago...on a cute little cruiser bike with a wicker basket. A-fucking-dorable!
Ah, Dina. Formerly the best thing on two legs, currently the best thing on two wheels. What's not to love?
