One can also visit http://yellowpagesgoesgreen.org/ and enter their information to request to be removed from phone book deliveries. They will contact the various book providers in your area. It's kind of like a do not call list for phone books.

Just called Dex myself. It should be noted that they will only do a pickup for 15+ books at a site. They also will only cancel phone book deliveries for an individual, so if you want them cancelled for the entire building, everybody needs to call and cancel separately.

Couple of guys in my building just started down the hall towards the front door of my office.

"No, thank you!" I said as one of them opened it. "We don't need those."

He asked for one of my business cards so he can show proof of attempted delivery.

Stupid phone company...

Any info on removing books from Verizon, Yellowbook, and anyone else dropping off these? I think Verizon will be coming out in September.
