Where’s the Party? (In the Event That There Needs to Be a Party)

posted by on May 6 at 21:00 PM

Stranger illustrator and big-time Obama fan Kathryn Rathke just called to ask where people are going to be drinking in the event that Obama pulls out a victory in Indiana.

Because, if he does pull this out, it’s over. And all you Obama fans will want to have been there when it happened.

So where is there? Where should she jump in her car and drive to, just in case?

There was an Obama results watching party at F.X. McRory's Steak Chop & Oyster House, (419 Occidental Avenue South in Pioneer Square). Don't know if there's anyone still there, but if so, they're bound to be buzzed by now!

@6, @5 said November, not August, but still, you are probably correct, it's over, considering that Obama is not really all that far ahead of McCain in the polls, and that few people will admit to being racist if you ask them to their face, but give them the privacy of a ballot booth...

I'm guessing there is a party at the McCain campaign headquarters.
