Self-Published Books Get No Respect III

posted by on May 30 at 13:00 PM

This one is A Love Story That Survived Death: Dick Haymes, World War II Crooner, Hollywood Movie Star & perhaps Edward VII’s heir comes to life in…Heaven Knows, Anything Goes by Dianne DeMarinis de la Vega, PhD.

The blurb that got cut off at the end there is by Roger Corman and it reads “This will make a great movie” or something close to that.

Was there a "Self-Published Books Get No Respect II" that I missed somewhere?

If you read this book, please explain the "heir to Edward VII" part. Haymes was born in 1916; Edward died in 1910. What's missing here?

"A Love Story That Survived Death" is about Dick Haymes and his Klingon love bride? Or did the cover art get mixed up with some Star Trek love story the author also wrote?

@2, I'm guessing there's some reincarnation going on there, in de la Vega's feverish little mind at least.

The title reads, "...& perhaps Edward VIII's heir..."

For more information, read the wiki for Edward VIII.

Is it hot in here or have I got fever?
