Politics Dino Rossi’s BFF

onYou know Andrew Franz? That Seattle University prof and former Army Ranger who was arrested when he showed up in Colorado to fuck what he thought was a 13 year-old girl? The charmer brought muscle relaxants and alcohol for the girl, along with lingerie, fishnets, and a “necklace with cherries on it.” Well, guess who endorsed Franz, a Republican, when he ran for the state legislature in the 47th District?
Rossi used to describe Franz as his BFF (“I’ve come to know him as a friend”). Now Rossi claims he never really knew this Franz person. There’s much, much more at HorsesAss.

What can I say?
Republicants are like that.
Don't leave them alone near your kids ... especially that Rossi guy ...
rossi's a snake...his mother is tlingit but he's rejected her and the whole native community.
This, THIS, is what you come up for as news? That somebody conflates their relationship with somebody to help their record. That's called, oh wait, what was that word, I think I have it, oh yes: POLITICS.
Expecting a politician not to play politics is stupid and asinine.
"... commitment to serving others." Fish, in a barrel.
Well, of COURSE they are. That's what Republicans do.
And let's be honest here: raping a 13-year-old WITHOUT the use of muscle relaxants is just cruel.
I hope he lives to be 102 and never sees the sky again.
Voters tend to punish politicians for being candid. I'm not a Rossi fan, but it's hard to blame him for this one.
@6 - no. It's not.
It's one thing to (eventually) repudiate the words and actions of a former associate, business partner, colleague, friend, pastor, et al, but flat-out DENYING a relationship with someone, particularly when the public record clearly documents such a relationship, is about as dumb as it gets.
Buh-bye Dino, thanks for playing.
clarification: he wasn't a SU professor. He was a military science professor with ROTC, which is staffed by the Army. SU cannot hire or fire, nor do they pay, ROTC professors.
They can tell them to get the fuck off campus, though.
@10: He hadn't been on campus recently, but he did have a contract with SU, which was terminated immediately upon the news of his arrest (according to a friend at SU).
That's nice. They should have kicked him off campus the first time he showed up, though. That's what I was getting at. SU should bar ROTC professors altogether.
the WA state republican party is such a train wreck. Even if I was conservative I don't think I'd vote for 'em.
@ 5: oh my god. what are you talking about?
