Books M is for Free

onNew York magazine’s Vulture Blog has an excerpt of comic book artist Jon J Muth’s adaptation of the Fritz Lang movie, M. I’ve read the whole book, and it’s pretty great. I’m generally against adaptations of movies, and Muth’s art almost always seems to feel stuck in the 1980’s to me like a Nagel print, but the book works in a really unexpected way. You should hop on over and see if it works for you, too.

So you hated Moonshadow? Really?
I didn't hate Moonshadow, quite the contrary, but I did find Muth's art a little passionless. I'm one of those freaks who can like a comic book if it's written well but not drawn in a style that I find appealing.
that chick looks like Amanda Knox.
