Beautiful Space

posted by on April 21 at 15:15 PM

Because space is useless…
…it is the ideal place for beautiful people. The beauty above is Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, Malaysia’s first spaceman. The one below is Ko San, a South Korean spaceman.

Because Yi So-Yeon is so plain…
…she has no business being in space. She must stay on earth, bare feet on the ground, hardened hands busy doing practical things.

Useless spaceships and the stars are for exquisite beings like Jeon Do-yeon.

This isn't the first time I've laughed out loud reading a bizarre, senseless Mudede post, and it won't be the last.

I whole-heartedly agree and propose that we blast all beautiful people in to outspace immediately.

Please get help, Chuck.

What the HELL are you on about now, Chaz? Space is useless?

Uh-huh, right, because all those earth-orbiting satellites monitoring our environment are worthless; all the robotic probes we've sent to both the inner and outer planets of our solar system - and now beyond - are a complete waste of time and money; and all those astronauts testing the frontiers of human existance in the most hostile environment imagineable - one we may have to find ways of making less hostile, if we continue to make the little dirtball we're currently living on more uninhabitable - are just all soooo useless.

If you want to gauge the relative uselessness of someone's job Chaz, might I respectfully suggest you start by looking at your own?

Space is indeed useless.

Is it wrong that I like this post only because of how much it will annoy many people?

I could sure use some more in the form of closets, with or without attractive asians.

Is this an editorial or a review of Gattaca?

You're so gay.

Oh, Charles.

Dear Helpdesk/Webmaster,

Please provide an RSS feed that dis-includes Charles Mudede's posts.

Thanks in advance.

But if they all traveled to Mars, they'd all be sterile ...

I loved this post

I just shredded an old paperback copy of Foucault's "Archeology of Knowledge," then put it in my pipe and smoked it (with a few of my toenail clippings mixed in for good measure) while watching "The Empire Strikes Back" on the DVD. I'll let you know what I discover in the Foucault Cloud City when I get back. Sloggers get ready!

The only worthless space is what's between Chuckles' ears. And maybe Will in Seattle too.

Ha ha ha -- kimchi in space! That article is awesome. Yi So-Yeon is NOT plain, and she's brilliant as well. Ko San didn't get to go because he got into hot water for violating the Russians' rules for handling their sensitive space program documents...

Charles, do you have a significant other? You seem to spend an inordinate amount of everyone's time here on Slog shoehorning pictures of "beautiful" women into pseudo-intellectual posts, trying to make them relevant to whatever off the wall point you're trying to make. Can you just keep your jerk-off .jpg collection to yourself and spare the rest of us your masturbatory fantasies?

Yi So Yeon is HOT! I hereby volunteer to keep her hardened hands busy right here on Earth.

laterite@11 wins.

Whatever, Charles. Astronauts are hot. I'd totally hit that - in SPACE!
