Books Everybody Go Shop

onBarring 50% off days at Value Village, it’s not very often that I get excited for sales but, according to their blog, the University Bookstore is having a 50 to 60% off sale on selected Dalkey Archive titles, starting tomorrow.
I’ve written a lot about Dalkey Archive, and I will continue to do so. They’re a non-profit dedicated to keeping old books in print. They’ve got some of the (no-shit) greatest writers in the world on their roster, including Harry Mathews, Stanley Elkin, Robert Coover, Gertrude Stein, William Gass, Flann O’Brien, David Markson, Carlos Fuentes, Rikki Ducornet, and Raymond Queneau. This is exciting stuff, people.

I wouldn't care if it was 99.9% off.
They also have a sale on Apple computers for staff and students.
Piece of trivia: Dalkey Archive is the name of a book by Flann O'Brien, one of my favorite writers. I definitely encourage people to read At Swim-Two-Birds.
Yeah, seconded, though I like The Third Policeman better. Hilariously creepy and effective.
Happy trails Paul- purchase up. I stopped as soon as I saw on their website "Contemporary Russian Poetry: An Anthology".
I think I'd rather eat sand.
Oh, I hope they have some Myles na gCopaleen for sale. That's some funny stuff.
