Isn't Jedi, or whatever they call it, actually somehow a recognized religion over there?

Posted by Dougsf | March 31, 2008 11:53 AM

I bet it was staged.

Maybe smoking is the real reason Vader needs that suit to stay alive.

On another subject, why isn't "??!!" listed on the categories page?

Forget the photo... that caption is awesome: "How the assailant may have looked."

Religious wars are always bad.

Heck, just look at the 600 new "settlements" being built in Israel in Palestinian territory that were announced today.

The assailant doubtlessly found his lack of faith. . . disturbing.....

Is... is this normal in the UK? Never lived there, wouldn't know. Now if it was Japan-totally normal.

How the assailant may have looked

The best part of the photo is the caption below it.

Will in Seattle didn't just pinch a great big Middle East Conflict loaf into the punchbowl of a funny little Star Wars Virgins story did he? No... he couldn't have been that big of a Grinch McAsshole, could he? I must have misread it.

Will is assymptotically approaching Ecce Homo. If in fact they weren't always the same person from day one.

I hate to be the prig on this one, because on any other day that story would be the kind of thing I would chuckle over for hours. And, no, I'm not going to lecture anyone about violence. It's just that, well, the sidebar, see? Did anyone else notice it? Flying penguins found by BBC programme"?

Dude! Flying penguins! I'm sorry, but a Jedi showdown in Holyhead just can't compete. I mean, yeah, the whole smoking Darth thing is hilarious, but ... well, flying penguins.

That's so freakin' awesome. Here, I'll say it one more time, in case it hasn't quite hit you squarely: Flying penguins.

How is that not the coolest thing you've heard all week?

hey bd... april fools?! i mean seriously, a penguin is actually defined as a flightless waterfowl with flippers rather than wings and webbed feet. i'm sorry you fell victim to the British press and their wacky sense of humor.
