Yes, it’s a mouthful. But it’s worth a hearing. Here’s the ad…

Any plan that doesn't involve the United States completely withdrawing from the Middle East and immediately ending support of Israel is going to fail. We need to get the fuck out of the region and completely abandon Israel.

I know it seems like a small point to some people, but can we please quit calling this a war? The war ended back sometime around when we threw out the Iraqi government and executed their leader. Remember the "mission accomplished" thing with Bush playing dress-up on a Navy ship?

Now it's an occupation. We're not at war in Iraq. We're a little bit involved with Iraq's civil war, but we're mostly fending off a resistance movement who wants our occupation of their country to end.

Do you really think we will abandon our colony? Will we abandon our, I mean their, oil?

Will the military or the defense industry allow the next administration to do that - no matter who wins?

Nah, we're there for the next 100 years, or until someone comes up with a cheap alternative to gasoline. Regardless of who is President.

This plans is just a fig leaf. The US will withdraw forces and allow whatever happens to happen. Oh and that bit about restoring America's moral authority, that will never happen. Once you allowed torture you crossed a line and you can't go back. Moral standing is like virginity, once it is gone it is gone for good.
