OT I know, but I just saw Bush on TV saluting the soldiers.

You know, the Presidents until Reagan DID NOT SALUTE THE TROOPS, Washington did not, Eisenhower did not none of them did. Why? The military is supposed to be submissive to civilian power. I hope that President Obama or Clinton will stop that trend.

Looks like Hillary's campaign folks told her she appeared to be conceeding (sp?) at the last debate, so now she had to chastise him like a school marm. If she hadn't had the campaign lit in her hand, she would have been wagging her finger at him. Desperation is not pretty.

And in real news, Tottenham Hotspur defeated the maggots of Chelsea 2-1 after extra time in the League Cup. Watching the winner slowly bound in off of Jonathan Woodgate's face was beautiful. Today, all is right with the world.
