There is a documentary in the making about a woman named Kate Fleming who drowned in the basement of her Seattle home during the flooding of December 2006. Kate’s lesbian partner who was not allowed to see her in the hospital immediately after she was rescued, has become an activist for gay rights. The filmmakers who will be here today at 4 pm have asked me to play myself in the documentary. Please pray that my words will be a strong witness for the Lord!

Also, please pray for the challenge I have made to the Snoqualmie Valley School District to sponsor a debate between the Rev. Wayne Perryman, Rabbi Daniel Lapin and me and any three people of their choosing to discuss why homosexual rights should not be viewed in the same way as civil rights for African Americans.

Your Pastor,
Hutch

"Play myself in a documentary" does he understand what non-fiction film is?

This text:

"Please pray that my words will be a strong witness for the Lord!"

should read:

Please pray for me while I piss all over this couple, just because they're gay!

Asshole.

I think he meant to say "play WITH myself in a documentary".

Nice. I can't wait to see how he proudly shits all over one woman's desire to see the love of her life before she dies.

I'll buy tickets to THAT performance.

Someone really should do a one-man stage show making fun of this man, using HIS EXACT WORDS.

Still, what's the harm if Hutch wanted to be a foster parent?

There's something here that goes to the root of the issue, and I can't quite put my finger on it. Something in the language of 'has become an activist for gay rights' - which is true and isn't necessarily pejorative, but doesn't recognize the basic level of dignity Charlene Strong has to advocate for...and that no one should have to request as if it's a special dispensation.

It could just be that he's batshit crazy...even if I can't understand Hutch, I'd like to at leaset understand better intentioned Christians who share some of his opinions.

@1 beat me to it.

Also, what does he have to do with this case? Anything specific? Or is he just going to be interviewed about how gays shouldn't have the right to be with their partners while they are dying?

That so-called debate will be nothing of the sort. Between Perryman, Hutcherson and Lapin, it'll just be a circle-jerk. Perryman seems even nuttier than the other two.

By the way, that's the first time I've ever used the term circle-jerk. I hope I've used it correctly.

So this woman was rescued, yet drowned? What?

What in the hell is going on in the city of Snoqualmie, I had lunch out there yesterday and the city offers free wi-fi in their small downtown area. Why are they blocking certain websites? But also when the web browser comes up and says request denied, it also says 1 Corinthians 6:19 which basically says some bullshit about your body not belonging to you. Did I miss something?

Hutch should pray for relief from the bizarre paralysis of his hands and eyes that has prevented him from actually opening his Bible and reading the words of Jesus.

@10 - excellent use. Please continue.

Please pray that this twisted fuck gets hit by a bus. Or at least attacked by pit bulls. Is that too much to ask?

@16, I agree, we need to send Dan out to spy on Hutch and see what he does in public restrooms.

Thankfully this is not a Christian nation.

Maybe Kate's partner will get offended and decide to rip Hutch's arm off an beat him with the wet end. Wouldn't that be funny? Haw haw...

Just kidding, of course. I am in no way advocating violence here.

@16 - Kate Fleming was pulled out of the flooded basement by firefighters that had to cut through the floor above. She had been completely underwater, but was resucitated and taken to Harborview, where she later died. I think that's what he means by rescued.

Is the Bible the last savior for racists and homophobes? Wrap yourself in a cape of Jesus and say any hate-filled poison to the clowns who follow you.

The internet group Anonymous needs to destroy this guy next.

Interesting in that he inches closer and closer to Fred Phelps territory

"For My Wife" is the name of the documentary, for those interested. Here's the website:

Thanks, Hutch. Thanks for being such an assholish, loudmouthed bigot. Thanks for perverting my religion to advocate for hatred and intolerance, in direct contradiction to the teachings of Jesus Christ, whom you claim to follow. Thanks for failing to see the crushing irony of your words and actions, even though you are a black man and know how it feels to be discriminated against.

Most of all, thanks for being a living, breathing straw man. Every bigoted rant that comes out of your stupid mouth discredits not only you, but smarter people who share your opinions. You are secretly a blessing to the gay-rights movement, even though you will never understand that.
